The Women of Faith Ministry is headed by Marcia Andrew. She has the following
to say:
“This ministry started several years ago as part of our church woman’s group.
Things changed dramatically in 2003 when my youngest son was in hospital with a serious life threatening illness. Whilst
staying in the hospital with him, I received many encouraging scriptures from the Lord mainly pertaining to healing.
However one morning, I was woken up and directed by the Holy Spirit to turn to Ephesians 4, which deals with walking
in unity with each other, “There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling, one
Lord, one faith and one baptism, one God and Father of all who is above all and through all and in you all”.
Whilst this Ministry is under the covering of FCF, it is organised and run by women from different denominations
unified in giving practical and spiritual support to women through prayer, counselling and advice, conferences and retreats.
“Gather the women and I will do the rest”
was a further word received from the Lord about this Ministry. By faith we trust the Lord will always
provide us with the subject matters relevant to women, in a loving, real and open forum, where all women are welcomed.”
Women of Faith meet on a regular basis. There is an objective to have one substantial event per year
where a special speaker is invited. Through the years many women, not only members of FCF, have benefited from this ministry.
All women of all denominations are welcome to participate. To contact Marcia: marcia.andrew@ourfcf.net
